Below we briefly describe what happens when you bring your car in for repairs.
The Eastland Body Repair Process
The Repair Plan and Approval
Firstly, the damage of your car is assessed. All the repair and refinish operations which need to be carried out on the vehicle are identified. Parts needed are sourced and a repair plan is made. An official estimate of costs is quoted and it is sent to the insurance company. Once it has been approved by both you and the insurance company, then the repair process will start.
The Repair Work
Mechanical repairs are first up. It concerns all the mechanical associated parts and includes: engine fluids, wheel alignment, auto electrical, exhaust, air conditioning system, brakes and suspensions.
This is followed up with the vehicle body repair work. Our expert Panel Beaters are put to work repairing the panels of the car. The windscreens, trim and all the other surfaces of the vehicle are also repaired. For areas with minor damages, such as a small dent, a paintless dent removal is performed. This saves time and reduces the overall costs.
The vehicle is then refinished. It is coloured matched to ensure that the painted parts will flawlessly blend in with the rest of the vehicle. And finally, the car is reassembled back in the workshop.
Make It Perfect: Final Touches & Quality Check
All the final touches are completed - the vehicle is spotlessly cleaned and polished. Finally to make sure that your vehicle is safe to drive and in peak condition, we perform a quality check to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our customers.
